Care that feels local.
Independent and family-run. We opened our doors at the end of 2025, on the ground floor of the brand-new Balcatta Medical Centre — a pharmacy built from scratch for the way care should actually feel.
It started as a floor plan and a conviction.
While the new Balcatta Medical Centre was still scaffolding and red dirt, we were already arguing over where the consult room should go. The answer shaped everything: a pharmacy designed around conversations, not shelves.
We built the bench before we built the brand.
The dispensary, the Webster bench, and a private consult room with a real door. Every counter placed so a pharmacist could step out from behind it and actually talk to you — the whole point, made out of joinery.
We met the street before we sold a thing.
We knocked on the doors of the GPs, physios and nurses moving into the centre with us, and walked the surrounding blocks. By opening day we already knew who to send you to when it wasn't a job for the pharmacy.
Three core services. One bright new door.
Medication reviews, health checks and Webster packs — open six days inside the new medical centre. A brand-new building wrapped around a decidedly old-fashioned idea of local care.
People you'll actually see at the bench.
- Harshad Varsani, Co-founder · Pharmacist in Charge — B.Pharm · Leads the dispensary and the two-pharmacist check.
- Sara Halim, Co-founder · Pharmacist in Charge — B.Pharm UWA · 20 years on-floor.
- Tom Halim, Co-founder · Operations — Runs the floor, the Webster service, and a tight ship. 17 years on-bench.
- Priya Devi, Pharmacist · Aged-care lead — HMR accredited · Lead pharmacist on Webster program.
- Jordan Lee, Pharmacist · Scripts & advice — On the bench since 2018. Repeats, eScripts and counter advice.
Five values, written down so we can be held to them.
- Care over throughput — We'd rather take ten minutes longer than rush a conversation.
- Locals first — We know our regulars by name and by what they take.
- Two-pharmacist checks — Every script verified twice, every time.
- Plain language — If you couldn't tell your nan what it does, we haven't explained it.
- Privacy as a default — A consult room with a door. Always.
